Abstract Submission

Presentations must be of a non-commercial, educational, exemplary value to those involved in any/all aspects of Smart Grid Initiatives (SGI) within the electric utility environment. Please use the list of suggested topics (above) as guidance for abstract submissions. Papers/presentations addressing these or other topics deemed pertinent to SGI will be considered by the conference committee.

Session Format

Each session will be approximately 45 minutes in length, with special accommodations considered for topics and panel sessions needing more time, as determined by the conference program advisory committee following a review of all submissions.

Guidelines for Submissions

  1. Type the Title of your presentation centered at the top of the page.
  2. Skip 3 lines and type the Name (s) and Job Title(s) of the presenter (3) directly under the Title* of your presentation (* The TITLE of your abstract should concisely capture the main focus of your presentation.)
  3. Skip 3 lines and type your 250-300 word Abstract. (NOTE: Separate documents appended to the submission are NOT ACCEPTABLE in place of this requirement.)
  4. Skip 3 lines and list up to 3 Categories where you feel your presentation fits best, where 1= 1st choice.
  5. On a separate page from items 1-4, provide a Short Bio for EACH presenter (3 max.)

Failure to comply with these Guidelines for Submission will be cause for rejection.

Submissions Deadline: July 15, 2009

Send abstracts via email (MS-Word ‘97 or later format; No PDFs) to Conference Chair: CFP@SmartGridRoadShow.com. Acceptance notifications will be sent to presenters by September 7, 2009
